This place is absolutely beautiful! We've have been a few times and highly recommend! Facilities are cleaned to perfection and the little ones just love it there! We have an upcoming visit and due to some awful news one of our parties are unable to attend.! I've been in contact with the lovely Bev.. and she has been nothing less than fantastic.. helped us to rearrange things.. nothing was to much trouble, and no pressure at all. Thank you so much Bev! We really appreciate you!

4 star ratingNice site for families Nice site, lots for kids to do. The gold panning and bike track have been a nice touch this year. Das & Becki are great always happy to answer questions and are always driving around or picking up rubbish.
We caught some nice size fish which are in good condition. The band were good shame you don’t do it more throughout the year.
Downside the food prices in Dotties’s have shot up.
The standard of cleaning in the toilets and showers has dropped from last year.
Apart from that the site is perfect with nice friendly staff in Dotties and shop!!

Lovely site and very well maintained with very helpful staff. Large pitches where we were, at least 10 metres between us. The nicest and cleanest Toilet/Shower block I have seen, can't beat cleaning your teeth to Adele singing Rolling in the Deep :-). Nice pizzas from the café on site, plenty for the kids to do. Didn't have room for my tackle but other anglers told me they caught. I like the "pay what you use" style of charging for electricity. Previously I've paid £5 a day for power, but for 3 days all it cost me was just over £1.70 for a condensing fridge on 24 hours a day, phone/tablet charge and a fan heater run for 30 minutes at night to take the chill off before going sleep. My only bugbear is that there's a 5mph speed limit on site as there should be, but it's pity that kids on bikes don't adhere to this. One lad on an electric bike was whizzing around doing laps easily in excess of 15 mph along the road where I was, pitch 9. Also bikes being ridden between pitches on the way to the play area at unsafe speeds. The family I holidayed with had a four year old with them and we had to tell her more than once to watch out when the bikes came through. Apart from that I strongly recommend this site for a visit.

Lovely place. Very clean and looked after toilet/showers area. Our little one loved jumping in the small marshmallow and playing in the park. Nice canteen too with some breakfast and lunch food. The shop had lots of essentials in case you forgot anything. Big big shame the weather didn't behave! We were just unlucky, lots of rain and wind. We would love to return when it's sunny! But I think next time we will not hold on to see if the forecast improves. Better to cancel respecting the 4 days notice than either getting bad weather or just losing the money.
