Please ensure that you check in during the above times. If you are experiencing difficulties on the day please telephone the office where we will endeavour to help; however please be aware that a late check in is not guaranteed.

If you are unable to, or are not intending to check in on your expected day of arrival please let us know.

Running Late?

Please contact the campsite office on 01785 715177 option 1, or ring/text the office mobile number 07739 759776 if you are experiencing difficulties such as a breakdown, traffic delays etc and are expecting to arrive after the latest times above. We will do our best to accommodate a late check in; however, this cannot be guaranteed.

Departures

Departures must be no later than 11.30am. Barrier cards and ANPR will stop working after this time; there is a £8 charge for all pitches that leave after 11:30am.

Late Departures (Late Stays) are available on the day of departure, but only if your pitch is clear for that day. A fee of £8.00 for a late stay must be paid for at reception before 11:30am. Please note that late stay pitches must be vacated and cleared no later than 3.45pm.

A late stay cannot be booked before your departure day.

Lovely place A fab family friendly site. We visited for the stay and play as we have never camped anywhere before but if we were going to try somewhere - it would be here. Facilities are immaculate and staff are helpful. The children all had wonderful fun.

Family Great cafe nice food. Clean facilities. A little misunderstanding of how to top up electric so we ran out during night. A little far to be walking back and forth. We didn’t freeze. Overall we had a lovely time
And we are already planning our next trip

Lovely clean site We stayed on the paddock for bank holiday weekend. Its a lovely quiet area.

Only issue is no toilets near by, they could really do with a couple by the activity lake especially for in the night.

Also waste bin areas, only 2 in the whole site, was over flowing onto floor, quite a walk for some pitches and also NO recycling????

The toilets and showers were always spotless and plenty of them.

The kids absolutely loved the play area and bouncy pillows.

Unfortunately the cafe is very small for the site. It’s extremely over priced.
We found the site shop cheaper for ice lollies but its a bit of walk as up at reception. The shop is very well stocked for anything you may need.

We did do the aqua inflatable and paddle boarding which was excellent.

Unfortunately the rude lady warden kept watching us in the evening and telling us to be quiet. It was 10am and we had the music off. We were only talking.
We then went up to the toilet block where it was very loud on those fields, kids still running around screaming and playing football. So seems the paddock is the quiet area which it wasn’t advertised as.

Just returned , very busy but quiet after 22.00 hrs.everywhere kept clean and tidy by the wardens, shame some people can't tidy up after themselves , thank you staff and especially Steve for looking after us , see you again .

Been here afew time’s now and cannot folt this place Staff are so nice..the hole place is spotless and well looked after! They drive round the grounds all day & into the night to make sure noone been a pain! Such as Load music or load groups! Great play area’s for kids! Private field for your dogs Great fishing area’s! We camp alot and this one is one of the best we have stayed at. Thanks for a lovely holiday pillaton farm! We will be back again!

Our Happy Place – Six Visits in Five Years! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This was our sixth visit to Pillaton Hall Farm in five years. We first came when our boys were only six and seven, and they are now eleven and twelve. They still ask to return every year, which really says everything about how much we love it here. The whole site is clean, spacious and very well looked after. The facilities are excellent, with plenty of washing-up sinks and hot running water. The showers are immaculate and cleaned regularly, which makes such a difference when camping as a family. Occasionally, children leave toilet roll on the floor, but that is not the campsite’s fault. The cleaners are always quick to sort it out. Parents should take responsibility and encourage their children to respect the facilities and practise good toilet habits. There is so much safe, open space for children to enjoy. Our boys love the huge bouncing pillows, the different parks and play areas, the bike track, the fishing lakes and the brilliant activity lake. It gives them the freedom to have fun, explore and make friends while still feeling like a safe and well-run site. The fishing is another huge highlight for us. The lakes are peaceful and beautifully surrounded by reeds, wildlife and countryside views. Catching fish here has created some really special family memories. We also love staying on the back field behind Dottie’s. The views are beautiful and the sunsets are absolutely amazing. Sitting outside the tent at the end of the day and watching the sky change colour is one of our favourite parts of being here. The food from Dottie’s is lovely, generously portioned and always served with a smile. The staff across the site are friendly, helpful and work hard to keep everything running smoothly. There are rules, but we honestly see that as a good thing. They help keep such a large and popular site safe, clean, organised and enjoyable for everyone. We love that there is enough to keep children busy while still allowing them to enjoy nature instead of constantly relying on technology. Children may occasionally say they are bored, but that gives them the chance to discover how much fun the great outdoors can be. Bikes are a great thing to bring too, as the wide paths and open spaces give children plenty of room to explore. Pillaton Hall Farm genuinely makes us so happy as a family. It has become part of our boys’ childhood and has given us years of laughter, fishing, bike rides, adventures, beautiful sunsets and precious memories together. They ask to come back time and time again. In our experience, Pillaton Hall Farm does not deserve some of the negative reviews it receives. TripAdvisor can sometimes become an outlet for complaints, but it is also important to take the time to share positive experiences. We would recommend ignoring the overly negative reviews and experiencing this wonderful place for yourself. We believe the price is fair considering the size of the site, the range of activities and the clean facilities, including hot running water for washing up, which is not always available at other campsites. We already cannot wait for visit number seven. It truly is our family’s happy place and has created so many wonderful memories for our children. It is a site where you can pitch your tent, relax and enjoy being together. Even if it rains, there are still things to do. The great outdoors is a wonderful place. Keep it simple and give children that unique sense of freedom and adventure that can sometimes be lost in the modern world. One final thing: the little shop is a bit of a walk up the path, but it is an enjoyable stroll and part of the camping experience! We absolutely love it here and cannot wait to return. ❤️🏕️🎣🚲🌅
